Hidden Agenda

We've all fallen into a few of these early in our careers.

Ask The Right People

Perhaps waiting a few years might be a good idea...

Thinking Great Thoughts

If Leibniz and Newton had co-workers, we might not have calculus now!

Technology Rocks!

Every good systems developer knows you should choose the software first, then the hardware. Alas, not all college administrators realize this.

Doing More With Less

Budget cuts are hitting every state-funded college. But how do you avoid capping enrollment? Its a tough issue to handle without increasing class size.

Thought I'd Heard It All...

...until a history professor shared this one with me at a conference!

Be Flexible

I always try to be flexible on deadlines, especially with community college students as most are juggling jobs and family issues. But there is always one instructor like this in the department...

Just Spinning Wheels

A dean I worked for was once on 36 committees at a time (absolutely true story)!

Computers...We don't need no stinkin' computers!

A true life story from one of my colleagues who teaches at a local community college.

A rose by any other name...
